libactionlib-msgs-dev software package provides Messages relating to the Robot OS actionlib, C/C++ interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libactionlib-msgs-dev
libactionlib-msgs-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libactionlib-msgs-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libactionlib-msgs-dev *
You will get with libactionlib-msgs-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
